Body Talk Helps Overcome Addictions and Cravings

Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, UT- March 4, 2010-Learning to listen to your body is what Ron Wayman teaches his students to help overcome addictions and cravings and it works. Mr. Wayman is an expert in energy kinesiology and one of the highlighted speakers at this years Healing and Wholeness Expo-Spring into Wellness on March 13, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Thanksgiving Point.

Energy kinesiology began in the 60's by an American chiropractor, George Goodheart. He discovered that he could make diagnosis of problems in the body by using the technique of muscle testing. Since that time, the practice gained momentum in the field of traditional medicine and now many different colleges offer degrees in the specialty area of kinesiology.

There are two different branches of kinesiology. Energy kinesiology, taught and used by Ron Wayman, primarily uses straight-arm muscle testing, among other tests, and a series of yes/no questions to locate problems within the body. In applied kinesiology, the other branch, the practitioner uses more types of tests and no verbal questioning.

Kinesiology is all about the balance within the body. The early work came from a combination of sciences and alternative healing techniques, one of which was acupuncture, the body meridians in particular. When the kinesiologist tests muscle strength with the arm in a particular position, he learns which organs and meridians are out of balance. Once discovered, other types of therapies can help realign the natural flow of energy.

Many things can cause the body's imbalance. As thinking creatures, humans also create our own reality and their own disease in many cases. It is at this point more of Mr. Wayman's techniques come into play. The mind and thoughts of an individual help create the block of energy. If you don't believe your mind has any control over your body, consider people with panic attacks that replicate coronaries.

Mr. Wayman, a graduate of the American College of NeuroEnergetic Kinesiology, uses the information he gathers to help people find their own solutions to not only addiction but also disease and energy imbalance. Once the patient discovers the part he plays in his addiction or energy block, he can take steps to change his thought process and actions to help bring wellness into his life.

According to Susan Vincent, a recent client of Ron's and firm supporter of Ron's methods, they help in every phase of your life.

"I began my own work with Ron after a cancer diagnosis several years ago, shortly followed by a serious accident that same year. My recovery from both was tremendously enhanced by the work I did at Sensory Dynamics. Though I received care from doctors for both issues, the energy work enabled my body to heal more rapidly and achieve a much deeper state of health than I would have had with conventional medical care alone."

Mr. Wayman's fascinating speech "Overcoming Addictions and Cravings" is scheduled at 2:00, learn how he's help people not only overcome addictions but also help break through barriers that stopped them from achieving goals and life's ambitions.

You may recognize Ron Wayman's name from his celebrity of being the host of "Holistic Health, Heart Mind" talk radio show. Ron is also the director of the American College of NeuroEnergetic Kinesiology. You can watch Ron in an interview at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgFiRqrtAtsfeature=related.
