Healing & Wholeness Expo set for Thanksgiving Point | Posted: Friday, March 18, 2011

"How about a little spring cleaning for your aching body? The organizers of the Healing & Wholeness Expo want you to “Spring Into Wellness!” next weekend. The convention-style gathering is being held March 26 in the Show Barn at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. The all-day event runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and features healthy cooking classes, organic gardening workshops, mineral makeup makeovers, nutrition screenings and instruction in yoga, Pilates, tai chi, massage and more. There also will be an abundance of healthy food samples. A variety of speakers will address a range of health and wellness topics.

Those scheduled to speak include David Christopher, director of The School of Natural Healing; Brigham Young University health and human performance professor Barbara Lockhart; and organic gardening expert Lutie Larsen of Little Farms in Lindon.
